What the project is all about:
Our project is about how different factors affect the number of and type of worms we will see in an area. We wanted to learn about worms because they are very important for many ecosystems and many times, they are forgotten. Many people don’t know why worms live in certain areas and what affects their lives. We wanted to understand the lives of worms because they are very important to our lives because they help fertilize the plants which we eat.

We wanted to learn about worms because they are very important for many ecosystems and many times, they are forgotten. Many people don’t know why worms live in certain areas and what affects their lives. We wanted to understand the lives of worms because they are very important to our lives because they help fertilize the plants which we eat.

We wanted to understand the lives of worms because they are very important to our lives because they help fertilize the plants which we eat.
What we are trying to learn:
We want to see how different factors such as soil type,location, soil temperature, air temperature, weather, humidity, and vegetation affect worms. We want to learn about the lives of worms and their habitats. We want to see how the vegetation affects their habitats and how the humidity and temperatures affect the soil they live in. We also want to see how different natural areas affect where there are more worms such as being farther or closer to a body of water.
How other people can contribute to the project:
Other people can contribute to our project by taking an interest in the lives of worms and doing background research on them using the links we have provided as well as finding new sources. After they have learned more about worms, they can follow the investigation procedures and collect data using our Epicollect project.
